not been on here much because it was pretty triggering but we've just had news that its being extended for 6 months as phone is with forensics
Is this a bad sign? Or just normal?
I'd rather be prepared.

Probably nothing. They have such a backlog, this is probably the first time it has been looked at.
They police have been saying they were looking at it as far as I know? They constantly lie and tell half truths I don't even know tbh.
Our devices got sent to forensics as we had 1) not thrown any away for over a decade and so 2) forgotten all the passwords. I think they have three or four devices they're still going through. I was told this would take 6 months because of the backlog.

I'm really struggling with the wait tbh. I'd rather the end hurry up and be here so I can just move on and make life better for me and the kids. It's so stressful not knowing anything all I can think is the worst.
They took loads of unnecessary stuff off us (WiFi extender and loads of my stuff that doesn't link to him) so has added loads of time that could have been avoided.

my persons took a 1 year and 8 months they kept telling us they were been checked and it would be 6 weeks so hope you don't wait much longer. And you get the best outcome.
