Evening ladies

I often wonder when I have a visit with my son if your other halfs, sons are at the same prison as mine x

We may have met, shared a smile across the waiting room,

Where my son is its an okay prison

I know we can't share where they are on here but it does make me think xx

Funnily enough I was thinking similar things today. I'm quite often out and about walking with the dog and the baby so meet a lot of people. I think a lot more about how many people are carrying struggles that they don't speak about. I hope that you manage to meet other people on this journey xxx

Evening Distressed

I am the same in every day life

How many of us share the same journey

How many of us struggle

How many of us are understanding

How many partners, sons struggle to think they are alone

How many of us know they are not alone

There are so many of us that find ourselves here through no fault of our own

I cant imagine how difficult it is with you amazing mums that have younger children and have to deal with this

I am so sorry that you have found yourself here

I am sorry for the mums who have sons on this journey

I am fortunate I get to see my son and everytime I see him I hug him harder for those who can't xx

I often think the same when visiting. Or wonder if others visiting even know about this forum and the support out there. He is on a VP wing and not everyone there is there for the reason our people are.

I was thinking this today! I wish we had a secret handshake like the Freemasons and we could identify each other when out. Then hug. And probably cry.

My son is in a SO prison and he is ok

It is just over a 2 hour drive from us

But with travelling and visiting time it takes over 6 hours x

Upset Mum!

Well, if we ever get private messaging we should sort out the handshake or all wear red carnations or something...

Just the thought of it makes me want to cry...

It would be wonderful to know if we come across someone else going through the same thing when we're out there. I think others must look at me and think I'm normal and lead a normal life. If only they knew... It must be the same for lots more who have found themselves in this situation.

It is shocking that statistics show 800 +men are arrested every month for similar offences

I look at young men when I am out and feel envious because that should be my son

Not living in this nightmare

But yet we are here xx

Upset mum I was just thinking the same thing as I was typing on my thread. I wonder how many of us will cross paths without knowing it.

@K4 wouldn't it be great to have some secret code at visits. What a comfort that would be.
