Changing bail conditions
Notifications OFF
Evening all, just seeing if anyone has successfully managed ro change bail condition. Knock happened December for communication with miniors. OH got a message to saying they are going to extend his bail and his conditions. We have 3 children 2 who are step children. He isn't allowed to enter the house. Only allowed supervised contact at parent house for 2 hours or in community. We have a family holiday booked in summer. Have discussed with ss about if he would be allowed to come if we put a safety plan in place. Also asked to change bail to enter the house but only asked for a few hours a week twice a week. Sw doesn't seem to want to entertain the idea of holiday or changing bail. The office wants an email with the reason for wanted to change bail. Anyone got any advice what to put in this. The kids miss him deeply and its so difficult. X

As far as I know you can appeal conditions but only when the extension is put in place I'm not 100% certain though.we tried and it got refused and that was over a year in. We did regular holidays but he was allowed unlimited supervised visits by me and had to book different accommodation due to no over nights with the children allowed. If you are allowed to supervise but only a certain amount of time you would pretty much be going on holiday alone as the conditions would still be in place
