I don't want to give you any false hope but in my experience with ss they write their reports with so many inaccuracies it's actually scary. I would take the comments to mean that the sw is unaware of the process and has filled in the gaps with what they think should be there. Police take all devices the accused person has had access to. You can email/ring the social worker and query the wording. I haven't bothered challenging the inaccuracies in our closing reports but kind of wish I had for when I go back to them xxx

K4 no advise as I have no idea about game consoles , I hope your son does get it back,

My son lost all his devices, laptop, phone and his pc that cost him £££££ xx

We have just been to collect all of the devices which were taken -interestingly the mobile phone used by my son was returned which I wasn't expecting because apparently that's where the messages were sent from and they were all marked as being negative so don't really know what to make of that...

As for " Police intelligence " don't make me laugh!!

I always refer to them as 'Keystone Cops'.

When my partner was arrested the police were not interested in his consoles....also I believe our console isnt registered as part of the SHPO (or if it is it doesn't get checked, he doesn't play games where you can communicate with others anyway).

I wonder whether their 'intelligence' is them just assuming coz of his age and the type of console/games he plays means he can talk to others online?

Hopefully it will be returned soon.
