Bail extension

Does anyone know if the police are allowed or 'allowed' to exaggerat or assume on a bail extensive application?
On my OH (not really but dunno what else to say) it says he said things in the chat and during interview he is saying he didn't.
I don't believe a word that he says but the police have lied on the form below about something I wrote and I kicked off and they removed it but didn't remove this so surely they have proof??

Hey,
The extension request form does leave room for the OIC to write their reasons so it is likely there could be untruths on there or exaggerations. My partner was never bailed so I never got the opportunity to know if it was within the evidence pack or whether your solicitor may be able to ask for a copy but I would think so. We definitely need to challenge anything which the police say that is untrue so see if your solicitor has a copy and if there is untruths on there, see what action they would advise. Xx
* they're not allowed to lie or exaggerate but in my case their statements of the arrest were complete lies and purposely made to make my partner sound dangerous - which could've ended up being one of the reasons the CPS decided to charge (we'll never know). I wrote a statement to attest that they were not true and the court struck out the use of them.

Thanks for your reply!
The OIC has written that OH has asked for things and admitted to asking for things and he's saying he didn't. We asked thr solicitors for proof and apparently he's requested it but I honestly feel like the solicitor could care less and isn't interested because it's legal aid. I don't see how proof don't have to be shown to make these statements.

You're welcome!
It doesn't surprise me. The police seem to make it up as they go along. My partner was quite shocked at a couple of things he said in his second interview when it came time for court, he'd rambled, forgotten about it but they twisted it to make it sound bad so defo try and get your solicitor to double check the actual facts. Our solicitors were also equally disinterested. They have strict guidelines to work towards so definitely follow it up with them and be persistant. It took a whole complaint to get anywhere with ours! Xx

My OH is on bail since September 2021 and still is extending as they do not have time to do research of the devices. His solicitor was put complain about it but he still didn't get any update...I wonder how long this will get...look like never ending...
Gosh - that's disgusting Polish bird - they don't have time!!!!!!!
when these cases reach court all of a sudden it becomes 'serious'!!!! Crazy.....

Amazes me that they're such a danger but yet not actually a priority to investigate.
I've lost so much faith in the police with all of this!!
My persons been on bail with conditions since August 2022 and its just been extended until May and they've applied for it to carry on until July.

Yes that what exactly I was thinking...this is awful and even worse that my little do not have idea why daddy is away... he is still asking if daddy is working....another bit that they didn't see each other since mid of January...we do not have a person who can do the supervised contact and yes I have compliant about this to our ss worker (from CIN plan) and after a battle with email started just on beginning of December last year he email me that I maybe ok to do it but he have to make some written agreements between me and them ...this was just end of January ...ss was made a date for a meeting with me to set up everything but finally never turn up and I have never got any update since....

Thanks for replying daffodil.
They're saying he said something in a chat with an adult (who's been convicted) and then admitted it in questioning. I don't 100% beliebe the chat part wasnt said but can't imagine he would admit it in questioning.

Hello all
It is a special day for most of us (mothers day) and I am sure full of memories from past and worries about the future.
Bit of update from me as after a battle with SS he back to us with agreement of supervised contact between my son and my OH where I can supervised the visit outside in the public. Agreement was full of mistakes for eg. Age of my DS in the paper he is only 1,5 years old....no he is over 4 now. ....We received only once per week upto 4 hours where the previous agreement between uncle or grandmother who was able to do it was double so twice per week up to 4 hours per session. I will try complain about this on my next meeting with SS. I am bit scared to do it as I do not want to lose this what I have received but spring is coming and we will have lots of bank holidays so why we can not spend this time together...any advice welcome if some of you had some experience with this...
