Hi, me again sorry.

Has anyone asked for no media and managed to get no media?

My person's father is quite ill and we fear this might impact him negatively if it were to go public.

Thanks in advance xx

Hello Betty,

I think we all share the media terror.

You can request no media, but there are stories on here who have requested but its ignored. There are people here who have small children, are sick themselves and live in areas where people have nothing better to do and they have still been reported.

You'll be very hard pushed to get a closed court, thats extremely rare and in cases such as terroism.

Its a storm we all dread and something that is so entirely unfair on the families of the offenders. I would actually say its dangerous.

Sorry that my words are no comfort, but i truth is best.xxx

We asked that our address not be read out in court as we have a teenage daughter with Autism and we're concerned about the impact on her if it got on social media.

They agreed to that, fortunately there was no media in the court.

Blue sky, I never thought of that :(

It's all just unbearable isn't it. I'm worried about my person even getting through charges and if it goes to court, we will get through it but if it's in the media I don't think he'd cope with the shame. To go through the last 18 months and now possibly court is hell on earth but then throw in the media and the whole world knowing :( xx
