Mother’s Day approaches

Tomorrow will no doubt affect a lot of us - I know it will mean a sad gap for me.

I have never been a fan of him but listening to the words made me realise what a great song so many words resonate x
Our visit went well , he looks really well and of course I gave him an extra tight hug for all of our sons , husbands who are not with us tomorrow
As hard as it will be without him I will be grateful that he is here, and of course I have my other 2 amazing young adults xx

I've been thinking of us all this evening.
Mothers, wives, partners... we are the collateral damage. We are the terrified, frightened, confused, damaged people who are spat out and left.
But yano what else we are? Fighters, destiny makers, dreamers, innovators, situation changers.
We are the beating heart behind our families, keeping them going throughout this hideous tirade.
We have each other, and we have hope.
