As already suggested on here it's been recommended to really check the evidence against, well I sat with OH last night and we have noticed that 2 of the charges claim he made IIOC on the very day he was arrested. The police confiscated his phone at 06:20am so it would of been impossible to have committed that offence on that particular day.
Now to try and pick holes in the other charges,
Stay strong ladies and thanks for all the support and suggestions so far

I believe the date should reflect the date of arrest rather than evidence the last time a iioc was downloaded (made). My partners charge sheet have the wrong month (stated July when in fact it was June). We contested it as it implied he offended after the arrest.
But I would check with the solicitor, tho I think it is quite normal for them to add date if arrest

Hi Daffodil
That's what I thought, the other charges are date specific. So hopefully this is the first error to be spotted, we've pointed it out to the solicitor this morning via email,
Will be going through the other charges throughout the day, but hopefully this is a good start

The charges may show the day of the knock and then have wording such as 'on this date or before' for any images found. We were told by the police this is because they can not necessary find out the exact date for images (or maybe do not need to ) but the images were on the devices on the day the items were seized. Hope that makes sense.
Do check charges carefully though and double check everything you are not sure of with solicitor.

I would like to add in regards to MAKING, he cannot be guilty of making if he was arrested when they alleged he "made" them, possession is different because they are either there or they're not but to be guilty of making them they would need to prove he did and how can he have done that when he was in a cell with no access to his devices....
Again Baffled,
That's a really good point and it definitely says making on the charge..
Brother in law who sent what is classed as Cat A video is devastated, but OH agrees it was only sent as a joke and he replied with laughing face emoji, the lads where he works have mentioned doing a petition to support him an say it was viewed in jest. Granted its not something my friends would send me but male humour can be very different

Help me,
The charges are 1 a 1 b 1c iioc but they are all in the context of watsapp jokes.
No searches or actual (in my eyes) iioc found at all. They were all just viral videos doing the rounds on watsapp.
Solicitor said he's very surprised the 1st option wasn't a caution.
But here we are with my OH facing some extremely bad charges that could have huge consequences on our future

Hi Daffodil,
Wow 1 cat C that just doesn't seem fair at all, what kind of sentence did he receive for that, ? Wouldn't you have thought a caution and some courses would of been the most sensible form of action.
Our solicitor isn't saying he definitely won't get convicted I wish he was, he just said having seen the evidence he's confident he can get quite a lot removed or attempt to put the pseudo image into context, as there were several other memes that were of a similar thing, tongue and cheek memes about Megan and Harry Windsor.
