So, the day has come, it's in the paper, I'm terrified! He's just text me saying he's going to kill himself, he's so selfish, leaving me to deal with it all and having to tell his daughter he's dead. Am I no going through enough already!!

Hi Cher

This is by far the worst part of it, I found out last Sunday that my Dads name was in the newspaper and then did it’s rounds on social media (still so anxious more and more people are going to share the post)! I get that his upset it’s made the papers but he needs to be strong for you and supportive to you, as it is none of our faults this has happened.

Head up, if you’re ever down we’re all here for you and going through similar things!

Massive hug to you, if we get through this part we will be such stronger people for it!

Evie xx

This is the thing I dread most - others knowing. But I do draw strength from other people on here sharing and then knowing they got through it so I know I can too.

Cher,

just wanted to touch base to see how your holding up. Hope you have some support. My husband has experienced high levels of mental health support one thing I was very grateful about was him getting support from the health team. It gave me permission to concentrate on my own well being. Those threats to harm oneself are extremely distressing for those receiving them. So please let us know your okay xxx

Hi, everyone, I'm just trying to hold it together, my daughter keeps asking me what's wrong, just told her I'm not feeling well. At the moment it's just on the papers website and they haven't put the comment section on, it's when it goes on the Facebook page for the paper, then I will see all the horrible comments, that usually goes on there a couple of days after the website.

I phoned his parents to tell them he was threatening to kill himself, they we're really angry that he was putting me through more stress, but yhey spoke to him and calmed him down. I let you know what happens when it's on Facebook. Xx

Cher,

thanks for the update what a stressful morning you had.

you seem to be holding it together with great dignity. Your daughter will be good she is got you for a mum and your being so brave. I hope it won’t hit Facebook and every one will be out doing their own family things and it will pass them by.

we may not know it but I am sure this experience will make us stronger. I certainly appreciate the little things more nowadays. You have been through a huge trauma enjoy cuddles with your little one.

And it’s good he has his parents calming him down. Your priority is your child and yourself. It’s incredibly hard to also support people emotionally through this. When they are the cause of our own pain.

Oh Cher that's pants!

Bloody papers, does it really need to be in there, it makes me mad, it's because they know people will have an opinion and not in a good way as we know!!

Try and keep busy, focus on your daughter but you too!!

It's batton down the hatches again but you will get through it.

I hope your ex gets the help he needs sooner rather than later!

Xx

So, I thought I got away with it going on Facebook....NO, today it's all over it, it's been shared nearly 60 time! So when I go back to work on Tuesday ( one of my jobs is a lollipop lady) I'll expect lots of weird looks and questions. Can't sleep or eat. Lucky I blocked everyone that knows my ex so no one can contact me.

Cher

i have just seen your post. Sending you t of love. In a way it’s a good thing it’s half term you will be surprised how many people will have forgotten or not real connect two and two . I truly hope you don’t feel judged on Tuesday. Have you got plans for the weekend to take your mind off this stress and distract you.

hold your head up for your job. You did nothing wrong. And after this year you will be such a strong resilient woman. You should be proud of yourself for managing with such dignity. Xxx
