Sorry if I've asked before, my person had a first interview and then released under investigation. He received a call from the police about 18 months later to say they'd sent the case to CPS. No second interview, does that mean no further information was found and they only have the evidence from the first interview?

Thanks Daffodil, that's what we're hoping as no second interview, it's bad enough on the first knock and interview:(

Waiting on CPS now but not sure we'll get through the next few weeks, it's pure torture and the wait is so unfair isn't it

Thanks Quand, not sure my person is strong enough to get through this last part, he's built himself up over the past 18 months,. Struggled with physchological distress from major childhood trauma, both parents falling seriously ill and now we're back at square one with the suicidal thoughts etc

Roll on Christmas and it might all be in the past. It really is disgusting how long it takes. These men are human beings with feelings like everyone else, I know he's done wrong but he's done so much to try and right it but the last 18 months work has disappeared overnight.
