So they bullied me into allowing them to speak to my children and disclose my OH offending. They told me if I didn't they would start care proceedings and report me to the university that I attend.
Their last 2 visits have been at my parents while I'm on placement. On the first visit the SW told my mum that my OH had made my younger children speak to people in sex chat rooms. And today she has told my 17 yo the same thing.
There is no evidence of this and if there were my OH would have been charged with a related offence.
If I question this I'm seen as minimising so I have to keep my mouth shut (not something I find easy). If my OH denies it, he's not taking responsibility, if he admits it (which he won't, he's adamant it didn't happen) then he's a greater risk.
This really is a lose/lose situation.
I'm just going to smile and nod until the go away and leave us alone!

Yeah got to love them for that huh.
I wish they would allow us parents to chose what we do or don't disclose to our children, we are the ones who will protect them and have to deal with their upset at the end of the day.
I can only suggest that you make a complaint the the social services ombudsman (yes there is one) about the lack of compassion that as have shown you and your children, especially threats. Also unbinknowst to some you can eventually sue them if you wish for undue distress/defamation and slander.
thoughts are with you xx
