So why is it when we are busy and occupied it feels like it use to. But when we're on our own the silence is deafening (if you know what I mean)

Can we get back to how it was or will it always be like this?

I've told my husband that the trust has gone, and I don't know if that's ever going to come back? Myself and my daughter are going away for a few days so my husband will be on his own, so this will be a test for him in itself.

Sorry for the ramble xx

Mata

I hope you and your daughter have a lovely time away, I hope it'll help you put things into prospective and it will do you and him good to have time apart to think about the situation.

Take care xx

I'm fairly fortunate that me and my ex-partner had been separated for nearly 6 years at the time of his arrest, although we were still in contact and our children spent a considerable amount of time with him.

I don't think we will ever get over this but I have the utmost admiration for you.

I need to keep busy, for my own mental health, but agree that a change of scenery does wonders for you. Just to detach yourself from the situation, put yourself first and distract you from the carnage that surrounds us.

Enjoy your time away and take some time out for yourself and your daughter xx
