So my oh is officially back home after what seems like a long but also very short 22months. We have finished our phased return. His completed all of his unpaid work which he only started beginning of year and finished last month and hopefully social services will be closing our case soon. Now on to a new start from today and not having my oldest tell me he doesn't like his daddy working nights and hopefully start being a proper family again.
Anybody going through all this being either at the very start or towards the end please don't give up with what you want keep going and sooner or later you can get to where you want to be

I'm So happy for you these stories are just what I needed to hear I've been threatened with being put on cpp if I get back with my ex and the thought has terrified me as she hasn't explained what that means or why I'd go straight on one other then they won't know his risk, I'm trying to not let them scare me but it's bloody hard when I've got no confidence in myself to start with. I wish you all the best for the future. X

Please May I ask whether OH is allowed to be unsupervised with your kids? Also, what are the rules for their friends?

Ah congratulations, we had similar positive news also today, my OH can return home after 10months and sleep with my supervision. Xx
Cherry we've been on cin plan the whole time but I have stayed with him and he has been in contact with the children every day I stuck to my guns and said from the start I wanted this to end in him returning home. I have had to do a lot of work to prove I can safe guard my children have you done any courses or anything x
K4 at the moment it's supervised but I am going to try and push for unsupervised before they close the case I have already mentioned it on a previous meeting with ss manager so they are aware. As for friends coming round we have it in our safety plan that and party's or visits my oh would stay away from the house
