You can request to speak with the manager or write a formal letter of complaint. I didn't need to change social worker although we did end up with a new one. I had to write a letter of complaint about all the errors and inacuracies. After I complained they were much better and things did change.

Im worried that because they are not aware im going away theu could somehow penalise me. The ex isnt coming just decided the kids could do with some fun..

I work in Children's Services and ours is in complete chaos at the moment with a lack of staff and an increasing number of children in care and on plans. It's a complete mess.

I would keep a record of when they said they were coming and haven't and any contact you have had but then no response from them. They can't argue with facts.

Go on holiday but email them and tell them. If you don't have their email then ring and leave a message. Then have a lovely time if you can xx

Meant to add...if you can't leave a message ring the main switch board and leave one with them.
