So this morning as we left to walk the dog we found that 2 house bricks had been thrown at our house during the night, fortunately just missing the front window and our car, causing only minor damage. Thanks to the media giving out our address after my OH magistrates appearance!!
So we've just installed 4 cameras incase it happens again. I phoned the police who didn't seem to interested but after some insistence from myself they agreed to send someone out, although that was 9hrs ago. Maybe they meant sometime this week.
Praying this is an isolated incident. ????

We have been fortunate to have had no repercussions from my sons offending,
Its shocking and hopefully with the cameras installed they will be a deterrant that this doesn't happen again xx

This is the very reason addresses shouldn't be given in the media. It serves absolutely no purpose. Makes me so mad that no thought is given to the family. Hope you're ok xx

I am so very sorry this happened to you. The media absolutely don't give a toss about the family.
We installed an additional camera prior to the trial. It was my absolute fear that someone would target the house.

I'm so sorry this happened to you and also Parkerpoo1. It's appalling that the media publish addresses and locations. They should have absolutely no right to do that. Disgusting behaviour.

How awful
We haven't had trouble, but the first thing we did after the pre sentence and media splashed it all on social media, was installed cameras.
I did ask VISOR what would happen if any trouble and they said they will sort straight away, they do have a duty of care.

Well firstly NO the police still have not been to see us, but I will be contacting them today as we have found out who it was !! A young lad who we know, his dad came to apologise last night and offer to pay for the damage, quite relieved in a way that it's just a young drunk idiot and nothing more.
But we have the cctv in place now should there be any further issues. X
