Communication offences outcomes

Hi again, I keep remembering what I need to ask so here goes another post!
My person is waiting on CPS to bring charges for communication offences (pic sent but then he blocked the person when he found out their age so pic deleted although I know forensics would probably find it)
I'm struggling massively with seeing a way forward at the moment as I'm seeing outcomes of long custodial sentences being given on here for communication offences:(
Please does anyone have any positive outcomes from this type of offence and not custodial? Feeling right now that I don't want to wake up each morning xx

Thanks Lee, we're expecting the worst so anything else is a bonus I suppose. We're just finding it hard to function with the waiting, quite cruel how these offences take so long :(
What would be classed as mitigating circumstances? I've read lots of contradictions on mitigating and aggravating circumstances so it would be helpful if those who have been through the process could advise from their perspective, although I'm sure the solicitor will clarify too xx

My person 3 communication charges , he sent a pic too though wasn't charged for that . It's an old one the ejjiet sent to me then resent it .he had lots of mitigating factors , worked hard on himself , had mental health problems etc all backed up by doc, social worker (adult ( and counsellor . 2 letters for character, one from me and from his brother. He got 3 years probation, 5years sor . I honestly think the fact he held his hands up and worked on himself since day one made a big difference. He's like a new person now .
