Hi Dragonmama.

Keep on keeping on that's all you can do. Easy does it. Even if it's just the basics, you are doing it and everyday you will gather a little more strength.

So pleased you have taken time to look after yourself!
No one had contacted me after my person was sentanced/under probation/SOR even though having (supervised) contact with our children. I had to contact childrens services myself!

I'm still perplexed by this in terms of safeguarding children!

I've never spoken to probation but have spoken to his visor when we were trying to arrange visits over Christmas and needed a social services referral. We haven't had any contact from SS since sentencing 4 months ago.

I'm pleased you're feeling a bit better. For us media was the same day. I would have thought it would be sooner rather than later if it is going to be in the paper.

Really pleased you're back and so incredibly resilient! Really upset for you that it was shared again!

Also pleased that you have had so much support and people have been checking in on you but also that you have a new recipe! I hope it was delicious. Pleased you could laugh in the face of adversity... I'm guessing she amuses herself too. (I also imagine she is sorry she hasn't been in touch more.)

As for the person that became blank, just remember your worth and have the courage of your convictions. Only you can know your own experiences. Regardless of what anyone says one thing I believe in strongly is knowing your own truth.

Sending much love xxx

Summer yes. Two supervised visits a week. Kids are teens so not really an issue but we'd like to move towards unsupervised at some point so will get in touch with SS soon to prompt them.

Just wanted to echo what others have said and say well done for taking care of yourself and your son. It can be so tempting to draw the curtains and stay in bed all day everyday; I've had days where I've done just that when everything just feels impossible.

But sometimes, just getting out of bed and carrying on is the bravest thing to do and the biggest act of kindness to yourself. Well done, you're doing really well. xx
