Hello!
My person has been to magistrates, pleaded guilty, signed SOR then that night had 2 police come to the house - they were from the Public Protection Unit and went through the SOR rules with him - are these what everybody else calls VISORS?
He has his pre sentencing report next week and was just after some advice on what this entails - what happens? Things they ask? How long it will take? Is there anything that he needs to add into it that we might have overlooked?
Court this week has really taken an effect on him - I think it all has become so very real for him now.
Thanks for any information you can share! X

Thanks for the Advice! ???? Yeah they were discreet and in there own clothes, they were very nice and supportive so hopefully they will stay that way! We were just surprised at how quick they came!
My daughter goes to gymnastics on a Sunday which my partner comes along to watch as I supervise contact for now - he has only signed the SOR as he is waiting for sentencing so I'm presuming we carry on as is until then but do you think he would still be okay to come along as the restriction on contact is for 12 or more hours? I have messaged the Visor but got no response yet.

Emma - it might not be illegal for your partner to go to gymnastics, but is it really a good idea given how easily it could be misinterpreted by others, whether probation, police or other parents?
Although he could continue to go to the gymnastics, the danger is that the police will then threaten to disclose his conviction to all the other parents.
