Anyone in Ireland? Feeling very isolated
Notifications OFF
Hi Everyone,
Apologies if this is not the right place for this post or if I shouldn't have started a new discussion. I have read a lot of posts here and it seems like a great community.
The way things go here in Ireland seems to be a bit different than in the UK, I was wondering if there was anyone on here from Ireland who has been through this?
There is nothing like this forum in Ireland.
SOme background to what brought me here...
The gardai came to our home in mid December 2022,
they took away devices and said it would take a few months for them to be checked.
I've since been told (by therapists) that it could be up to a year, then I was told by another it would probably be 2 years, then another said it would proabably be about 5 years.
I really don't think I can live like this for the next 5 years.
At the moment I have decided to stay, it's easy at the moment,
but I know it will get a lot worse.
I have have told one friend, they are very supportive.
But in hindsight I think I probably shouldn't have,
but I feel so alone and isolated.
Thank you

Hi Bluebellblue,
My person hasn't got a solicitor yet, I think he's delusional that when the times comes, he can just plead guilty and accept whatever punishment is due. I know he needs to find a solicitor, I figured there was time for that, but I actually don't know for sure.
If it's ok with you I will send you a private message?
I can do that now,
X
