It's my 2 little ones First Holy Communion in a few weeks. We're Catholic so it's a big deal.

Our parish priest is aware of my husbands conviction, he has been very supportive of me and my children. I wouldn't go so far to say that "my faith has got me through," but I was brought up to believe in forgiveness and to hate the sin, not the sinner. This has been a factor in how I have dealt with the situation.

Any way, I digress..... The priest has to do inform tge safeguarding team which means my husband may not be able to attend. I can't even begin to think about what to tell people about why he is not there. My kids will be so upset.
