And he's on a high. It's not the job he interviewed for and he hit a real low yesterday. Was worried about him as when I got home he had taken to his bed and didn't want to eat so thought we were heading for a dip, but then today, he found out that another job he can't even remember applying for or going to interview for (there's been that many and that many knock backs) that he's been successful!

Only drawback is that it's half an hour in the car from home and he finishes his shift at 11 and has no way other than me for getting home, but he will be working so I will take the knackeredness of picking him up after a shift (probably in my pjs but sssh who needs to know?)

Just really pleased for him!

Thank you everyone!
Upset, that's what I've said to him. But also, we've found out there's a scheme called wheels to work. We can't get him insured on a car due to the astronomical cost, but if we put him through his CBT (around £150) they will rent him a scooter for £30 a week and insurance will be covered in that regardless of offences. So that's our next step xxx

Oh that's fantastic news and will make all the difference to all of you please congratulate him from me I know how hard it is to get a job and the knock backs are devastating.

As for driving in your pj's just throw a coat on and you'll be fine I do it all the time!!!

Congrats to him!
Great news, and scooter scheme sounds very reasonable as well.
You can pick him up in terrible weather.
Driving in PJs is really comfortable and perfectly fine!
