Has anyone had experience of a trial and would be willing to share their experience? Eg how long it lasted, what happens?
also, is anyone going to be, or has been, a witness for the prosecution.
after my partner was arrested I gave a statement and information which they have deemed useful to aid prosecution. Wondering if my situation is unique?

Hey Deedee,
My partner had a trial. It was scheduled for 3 days. I didn't attend but I was called as a witness on the last day but I never actually had to go because by the time the defence was ready for me to attend the judge was so disgusted at the prosecution and the lack of evidence my partner was acquitted. I didn't go to any of the trial because I had uni and work and thought I would need time off if it went the wrong way.
Not sure I am the best person to advise but if you have any specific questions I will do my best to answer. Can pop them here or feel free to message me :) x

I see, yes once (if) charges are made then all the evidence will be made available and a decision can be reached on whether or not a not guilty plea should be entered. There may be worse evidence found or there could be an issue with any evidence already known about, it's hard to know until it's there. So try not to worry about being a witness, it's possible he may just plead guilty if evidence is overwhelming Xx
