Hello All,
Just looking for some advice... my children are on a CPP and have been for the last 3 years. There has been no progression made in this time and ex partner's sentence will end October this year.
After two many failings to count i was advised by our conference chair to submit a formal complaint against social services which i did dated 18th April and wad informed id get a response by 18th May as per guidelines. However it is now 26th May and no response.
The Conference chair submitted her own complaint against social in regards to our case as she's had enough also. Just at a complete loss now and dont know where to go next.
Nothing is moving forward, no one is answering just being ignored and ive had enough. Could anyone help or does anyone know where i go next?
Any response at this point is much appreciated.

Hi
i too did a formal complaint back in March, I emailed several high ranking persons within social services and got back a response which was then covering their own butts, it took a month. most of which wasn't even accurate, I was going to reply to that but unfortunately I stupidly forgot to press send on the email so instead I'm going to be bringing it all up at the next meeting. Bare in mind in our Cpp case is nearly 9 months in and they haven't done anything on the plan at all. When I emailed the first time I made sure to copy in the chairperson to the meetings as she herself wasn't happy at the first review nothing was done. Besides my OH has been sentenced now so the "risk" isn't even there as he's in jail.
however for you I would suggest you go to the next step up and contact the head of social services within the government. Make sure you list it as undue distress, alternatively just take them to court, there are plenty of solicitors who would be happy to take your case.
