My children are due to start a new school.
just wondering if anyone had a meeting with new safeguarding lead prior to starting a new school?
I feel like I should explain what has happened and request that they aren't in the same class as our ex friends children to avoid any further conflict or the fact that they may cause bother.
Or should I email DSL directly ?
just thinking ahead to try and make the move as happy and easy as possible x

I would email DSL directly. (Don't expect a reply during half term, but they will get back to you when term starts). Schools regularly have sensitive information passed onto them and manage things like which classes kids are in accordingly.

Email the DSL directly and then arrange a meeting if you feel it is necessary.

Schools regularly deal with all kinds of situations and they will respond sensitively in the best interests of your children and yourself.
