Unsupervised contact

Hi, does anyone have on their safety plan or SS assessment in black and white that their person can have 'unsupervised contact' ? I am struggiing to get SS to actually put this in writing.
They have wrote that I can leave our 2 children with him for a small amount of time and build that time up. But then have closed the case. Probation is not happy with this and want full clarify on timescales, how long is a small anount of time etc. I need to cover the children, him and myself in every aspect. Why is everything so complicated x

We are literally just going through closure and I have got our sw to put on there that I will be the main carer and that I will continue to assess and he can be unsupervised at times that I feel our children are safe for it to happen. Hopefully her manager signs it off as that
Thats good news, fingers crossed it gets signed off. I know they're wanting to cover themselves all the time but they are the ones calling the shots making these decisions so should be putting everything in writing x
Yes exactly they don't want to show that they give permission it's the problem. We got sent back to our original SW after ours suddenly left and she said straight away she didn't see the problem and that he could do school pick up and drop off which obviously he isn't allowed to do but she didn't see the problem with it. Can you contact and say you want more clarification over it now it's been a while. We're lucky because probation have said they haven't got a problem with it but would prefer it in writing x
Hi Jayjay
we are waiting on our paperwork to come through so I will let you know what ours says.
But probabtion we're on our closure call so heard that he can have unsupervised so they are ok in our case.
what I would suggest is you write to your social worker, email is fine, and say something like "I am writing to confirm that it is our intention, and as signed off by social services at our closure date of X, that X can have unsupervised access to his children. Please confirm by return if this is not the case within 7 days otherwise I will accept this as true".
Sometimes that's what you need to do with SS to get them to do what is needed.
