SHPO - forgotten details of email accounts etc
Notifications OFF
Hi, we're a way off release yet, but in my person's SHPO, it's specified that he must give all details of email accounts within 3 days of being able to access them (ie when he has access to a device on release). He has one active email account, but also a number of old legacy and unused email accounts. He can't remember access details/passwords etc for these. He'll also need to disclose his dreaded Kik account details. Again, he accessed this on one device that he no longer has access to (believed to have been destroyed) and can't remember log in details. Would welcome any advice on how to approach this to avoid breaching his SHPO! Thank you, wise ones...
This is something my partner and I are concerned about. He deleted accounts he was aware of before sentencing but I'm concerned he'll have forgotten some and that if he remembers the details, he'll have to login and delete them and where this sits with his requirements. We have said we will talk to his PO about this, but the whole thing makes me nervous. Whilst I am confident that in normal circumstances there would be nothing to worry about, but we aren't in normal circumstances.
He has a lot of IT that was never taken by the police and some of it had quite complex set up. I want him to just throw it all and start fresh, he assured me that there is nothing to worry about, but again I feel nervous about this. He will talk the the PO about this, but ultimately any IT set up in the future will be very simple.
I do think (perhaps more hope) that showing willingness to be transparent will help.
If we find out more information further down the line, I will share.
