Possibly the made up story could be classed as an indecent article ? Not too sure sorry bit I would def say communication offence if they have requested IIOC

Ultimately charges are down to what the CPS think they will get a conviction for.

My OH has a conviction for sharing an indecent article which relates to a conversation with an adult about CSA that my OH witnessed when he was a child himself.
