Our case with social services was closed recently my child will be moving from nursery to primary school in the next couple of months. Does anyone know if nursery will tell the new school or is it upto us if we tell them. Probation haven't got a problem with us not telling the school as long as he doesn't do pick up or drop offs

Thanks

Hi, nursery will share all details with your child's school. The school should contact you either before your child starts or during the first few days. Schools take safeguarding , especially this type of crime extremely seriously. I am responsible for this area in my school and in my experience schools will be very supportive and sympathetic towards you. Good luck x

I would check with the Nursery but it may be on your child's records so would be passed on to the school however if Probation have stated that you don't need to inform the school then you can request that the information is not passed on and just put yourself as the principal cater and contact on any forms.
