Sentencing was yesterday and he was sentenced to 28 months but will serve 14. There were no press in the courtroom and so far nothing published in the media. How long do you think is considered 'safe' that nothing will get out? It's driving me crazy checking all local pages to see if anything has been written, on top of being obviously upset about the sentence.
Firstly I'm sorry to read of your outcome and hope you have support to help you manage the aftermath of a custodial sentence. I can't really offer an answer to your question as I closed my social media prior to sentencing ( inadvertently one of the best things to come from this whole sh*t show) and I chose not to conduct searches following sentencing. My reasoning was that I can't control it I just needed to deal with anything that resulted, I didn't feel that driving myself to distraction was going to benefit me.

The case with my ex was reported a month after sentencing...
We had no press and judge had said no reporting.... I learnt that doesn't actually mean .. no reporting even though he no longer lived at address..

My oh was 6 days later nobody in court. My oh got told upto 6 weeks before they probably won't publish
I recently spoke to a Therapist from the Stop So Site who told me my OH case would not be reported in the press. How she could say this for certain I really don't know!!

Everyone my oh spoke to said this to him. There would be no chance because it isn't a big case and nobody would be interested in a nobody but yet it still went in the paper
