I believed him now they saying images of kids ? His wife saying she doesn't know anything ( I have 5 kids myself and now worried sick
help !
help !
Hello,
sorry to hear your news, suicide is such a traumatic way to lose someone.
if it had been going on a while, social services would have been involved with any children he had with his wife (or any other previous partners)
They would have to have known to help to protect the children.
I don't know if you would be able to ask for information from the police as his partner, but given the situation, you might be able to?
hope this helps in some way

Hi Lara,
I'm so very sorry to hear about your boyfriend and the difficult time you're having trying to get your head around everything. You may be feeling very isolated because of the situation but being in a relationship with someone for that long is certainly a significant time. If your boyfriend's wife knows about you she might mention you to whoever is in touch with her, perhaps the police - in which case children's services would contact you I think, to help ensure your children haven't been harmed (be encouraged though that very few online offenders go on to offend in real life)
As for the discrepancy in reports about what the offence actually was, I know that people on this forum have had partners offending whilst addicted to drugs so maybe it was one offence leading to the other, but that's just guessing.
If you don't get the answers you need, as your boyfriend took his own life there will be an inquest eventually which might provide more information - but of course it might be too traumatic for you to even think about that.
Hope you are managing to get by and have some support around you at this awful time xx
