Hi all,

not sure if this is a stupid question but that's the least of my worries at the moment...

Back story is...OH has been charged with communicating with a minor and sending a pic but non penatrive and is due at magistrates. Solicitor has said that it'll be £1500 for that but it's likely it'll go to crown court which will be £2500.

I've already paid nearly £3000 in costs for preparation and emails back and forth, £30 for them to read one and £30 to send one back!!!!

OH is going to plead guilty, first offence and been on the inform plus course and is going to counselling. I'm going to write a letter (god knows how) and so is his dad and possibly my mom.

I've rambled a bit I apologise but my questions is: is it worth having a solicitor now? Will they have much of an impact or not? Xxx

No I didn't think I could at this stage as OH had duty solicitor but we changed as he was rubbish.

maybe I'm being naive about it but they've charged him with what they questioned him about originally. Nothing else has been found through searches and he's pleading guilty. Will it make a difference? I appreciate if he was going for not guilty or being accused of something he hadn't done etc.

sooo confused by it all xx
