Afternoon lovlies x

I hope your week has been ok (I have no idea where this week has gone) the weather has been hit and miss hasn't it x

For all you lovely ladies with younger children who have broke up for the school holidays I hope you get to do some great things to keep you all busy x

I managed to get the grass cut earlier not sure the weather is looking great for the weekend

So me and my daughter have a visit with my son, her brother (the hungry catappiler) tomorrow it's been several weeks since our last one due to the move etc so I am sure he will try his best to eat as much as he can to make up for it :-)

Keep strong and be kind to yourself, hugs sent as always xx

I love the hungry caterpillar list too - I bet Eric Carle who wrote the original picture book would be chuffed to know his work is still an inspiration!!

My week has had more ups and downs than the Alps (health scare/nothing to worry about, son's second interview leading to him disclosing more info to us and adjusting to that (praying it's the lot now!), seeing my lovely cousin who is being so supportive, picking up the grandkids and watching my son and their Grandpa (my OH) teaching them to ride their bikes, taking the grandkids to see 'Elemental' and then choosing our tea in M&S foodhall (major carb overload for all of us!), and just came last in a game of Ludo which I loved as a child but boy, isn't it tedious?!?)

Have a fab weekend everyone in whatever way works within our non-fab circumstances xxxx

Your bit about G pa and son teaching the kids to ride bikes aww so adorable, such small things really do make a huge difference dont they , the cinema, M&S foodhall bliss xx

I told my son about his hungry catappiler name on here it made him smile, and seeing that made my heart so warm, xx

Upset I hope you have a lovely visit with your hungry caterpillar this weekend the list of food always makes me smile.

Been an up and down kind of week here but tomorrow I'm going on an Art workshop so having some time to myself will be good.

Son is doing ok but had a bit of a blip after meeting with probation and visor where a very unpleasant remark was made to him-we have now put in a formal complaint but as we're still waiting for a response to the previous behaviour of the visor I'm not hopeful that we will even get a reply.

I often think of you and your son

I am truly upset for you and your son , the probation and Visor should be ashamed of themselves its disgusting how and I dont even know what they said they can get away with behaving in this manner , I am pleased you have made a complaint

Try to emerse yourself in your class tomorrow its precious you time xx

Hello Friday club.

I have had annual leave this week so no work pressures. When i am off i dont get so angry as i am not working while he reads his books etc, but as we dont have little kids i dont feel we can go anywhere. It just seems wrong to be with OH. Though we have taken the dogs out as usual but that it usually the local woods which are quiet. I find i am spending more and more time at home. Did go out to see a family memeber one day. The ironic thing is that i keep buying clothes, even though i go nowhere to wear them.

But my pup keeps me smiling. And i too will await the hungry caterpillar list.

I have managed to read a book this week, I read The Marlow Murder Club, a silly book but well written i thought. It is enough for me to forget my troubles for a while. Starting to watch The Rookie from the beginning so that again is just about my week.

hope everyone has a good week. I need to get out more though. X

Hi lovely ladies - as per usual good to hear your news.

yes Upset have a great visit - give your boy lots of hugs and kisses- plus lots of snacks!!!!!

I've had a good week, apart from one or two nasty comments from hubby about my son - but try to respect he has struggles too!!!!!

had a nice family visit with lots of tea, cake and chat. As always it's like a therapy session / I'm so lucky to have these people in my life.

On a peaceful track at the moment :-)

To all you strong beautiful ladies x

Our vist was lovely, my son is looking well under the circumstances, he is gaining weight and muscle (he is back in the gym) so that's also helping his MH, we talked openly and honest about his offending, as much as I hate where his is our relationship is so so much more, it's a shame it took this to make it how it is but I am so proud of him for how he has adjusted and is here (we never thought he would still be with us, self harming and extremely suicidal)

His beautiful Sister always brings out his sence of humour and they are incredibly close xx

So his intake of food this morning bearing in mind it was 9am he had the following

I ordered 4 lots of crumpets (omg they stopped doing them) heart drops what do we have instead,

This is his intake and in order

4 lots of toast, you get 2 slices of toast and butter portion for 50p what a bargain

A sausage roll, the pastry was great but the filling left a lot to be desired lol

A chocolate diary milk fruit and nut

A tub of double chocolate icecream

His sister got a slice of Vegan chocolate cake he wasnt sure if he would like it so she was the gunnie pig, I think the word Vegan put him of lol but he tried some of hers and you can guess the next thing on his list

Yep a slice of Vegan chocolate cake

Slight breather and a good fart lol made room for the following

A packet of salted nuts

A gammon ham sandwich

A packet of crisps all washed down with a mixed fruit Oasis drink

I had 2 bits of toast, 3 teas and a latte

Oh and then last but not least a bag of peanut m&ms

That was all he could manage today lol xx

When we left he was going for a sleep before his gym session

xx

Daffodil, that's fully rubbish for you and I can offer you nothing but solidarity and hugs

Hi,

I love the hungry caterpillars lists. I'm really pleased that you continue to have open conversations about his offending, it's so important for all of you moving forward although not easy to have.

Daffodil, I'm so sorry that you have had to go through that and that the police have been less than helpful.

The weather is playing a massive part in my mood these past few days. I don't particularly want scorching heat but a couple of decent days in a row would be nice to get out and do some of the cheap summer things I have planned (parks and picnics mostly).
My person has been made redundant recently so his mood has taken a battering. I continue to try to be positive about jobs because he got this one with an unspent conviction and he coped well with the role, has a more recent addition to his CV and got longer out of it than he initially expected as it was due to be a seasonal role for the Christmas period.
The area I'm struggling with is encouraging hobbies, he seems reluctant to pursue anything hobby wise but I feel it would open doors for new friendships and also go towards building a better future for both himself individually and us as a family moving forward. I'd welcome any advice from anyone who has been in similar circumstances xxx

my week has been up and down we hit the 1 year mark since my husbands arrest, his phone is still in a queue. My anxiety is worse now as I just feel like I'm sitting on a ticking time bomb.

trying to be postive with the school holidays starting and making memories. We went away to Bournemouth for a night which was lovely the beach their is beautiful. We also went to watch barbie which I absolutely loved! My eldest loved it but my youngest said it sucked lol

Upset that's quite a list there !!- so pleased you had a good visit with your hungry caterpillar.

Daffodil I'm so sorry for what you've had to endure and it is appalling that you are being treated like this by the Police who are next to useless-how dare they speak to your son like that when he's clearly showing that he's trying to move forward.

Sending love and strength to all the lovely people on here xxx
