Morning everyone,

I have been asked by the solicitor to write a letter to the judge. I am happy to do this as my OH is seeking help but where on earth do I start. Is there a set layout? How do you address them? Don't want to keep asking the solicitor loads of questions as it's £30 for them to read an email and £30 to send one back!

I wrote about how long we have known each other how out of character it is what he was like before the knock and after. How he is as a person how it would effect me and the children. I did put if it was a prison sentence then I would have to sell our home and we would have to move further away from family support I think mine was just over a page long. He also had two off his parents

Thank you, I've tried to have a go today but it's so hard to put it all into words. I was crying as I was writing it. Will have another go tomorrow xxx

Good luck it's a horrible feeling I remember waking up at 3/4am one morning and writing stuff I thought about crying as I did it. It's not nice but once it's done you can't do nothing more. Your more than welcome to inbox me if you want xx
