Hi everyone, it's been almost 9 months since the knock. OH was arrested & questioned same day . Since then bail date been changed about 4 times . Each time bringing more dread and fear leading up to the date and then more of what's to come . Just had word from police that devices are still over 125 in the queue and applying to court to extend bail untill Feb 24. I feel like I just can't take anymore . Anyone had similar waiting for devices and next step ? I really am struggling . I don't know how much more I can take .

My partner got the knock Jan 2021 and he is only just going for his plea hearing this week so waited over 2 and a half years!. He waited 6 months from his 2nd interview to get charges. The waiting and limbo are horrendous. I've stayed with my partner and supported him but my god it's taken it's toll on me
My oh was on bail for 18 months in total took 15.5 months for devices back then really fast speed of charges, magistrates and crown
It's disgusting and extremely cruel for everyone concerned having to wait SO long for things to progress.
I think our ordeal lasted three months, and that was hard enough to cope with!

Thankyou all for your replies . It really does help to read your situations too although I'm so very sorry anyone else is going through this horrendous nightmare. I decided to stay with my person too although it's been the hardest thing to do . We have been together 24 years . Some days are just like we forget it's all happening and then other days are like a huge hit back to the reality of it . X

Bluesky am with you completely too . It's 100% how I feel. Bail was due nx week( 4th time) and the text and email came yesterday to apply to court to extend by 6 months because devices are over 125 in the queue ! Yesterday floored me once again . The dread , anxiety , fear is almost too much to bear . Sending you hugs x

1000% agree with you Daffodil, I'm going through a simalier situation where my OH was supposed to return to the station on the 25th, he went and they'd extended his bail and we had ABSOLUTELY no idea about it, even to this day we haven't recieved a letter or phonecall. There have been days where I've just absolutely had it and want to leave, but like you say I think they do this on purpose, not to mention the relentless little digs I get for staying like "It is your choice buut" yeah, I just feel blackmailed and pressured to leave my OH at this point.
