Pre trial hearing

So my OH is back at Crown Court tomorrow for a pre trial hearing, if nothing is resolved tomorrow then the trial is set for October.
His solicitor has been trying for weeks to discuss with CPS, but had no success, then last Tuesday they finally responded and said they would review the case and make a decision by last Friday, well unfortunately CPS didn't keep their word and didn't review or even acknowledge the solicitor. So unless we hear something today, it will be Court in the morning.
It's cost a small fortune so far, just hope we have some positive news to share soon as I'm completely exhausted by it all. Coming up 15 months now

This is a long drawn out and totally draining process. Tbh our solicitor was dreadful and about as much use as a chocolate teapot, we felt we had to continually prompt to find out information and in the end we felt as though we were better to represent ourselves! I hope things work out in your favour and your solicitor helps to get a positive outcome for your OH.
