Hi, my husband's trial starts today. We have been on this road since May 2021 and I can't believe that we are finally here. That today is the day. It all feels very surreal. I just hope that after today we can begin to move on. Hope you all have a good Monday
I'm sure we all hold hands with you and yours today. Hold your head high, and keep that strength....... x
Hugs and strength to you today xxxx
Thinking of you Rachel x
Fingers crossed for you and I hope we are reading about a positive outcome later x

Sending you big hugs, thinking of you xx
We're right by your side xxx
Thank you for all the kind words and support it really means so much. Unfortunately, can't believe i'm going to say this, it's been adjourned again. I can't believe it. This is due to the crown. The judge did give them into trouble. The down side is that they could not find another date until December. That will be a whole year we have been going back and forward to court now. Not sure if I need a lie down or a strong drink. Not the outcome we were looking for today. Thank you all very much for the support xxx
Aw Rachel what a nightmare this is so unfair on us all xx
Outrageous!!! This is abhorrent. I'm so sorry you are being treated this way. Xx
That's is awful, I really feel sorry for you, hanging on that long. The system is in dire straits. So sorry! Go for the strong drink
I volunteer supporting witnesses at my local courts and I've yet to support someone who hasn't come for the first time but ends up having to go home and return on another date, or who comes in for the second or third time. I feel so sorry for them and see the emotional toll it's taking. Now I'm involved in this waiting game myself I can truly empathise with them.
I'm so sorry it's prolonging the agony, Rachel. There should be some consequences for each time the CPS procrastinates or messes up which is reflected in their conviction statistics. They'd pull their fingers out quickly enough then!!

Hope you have managed to have your stiff drink now.

Hope you're having a drink now .
Hope you're having a drink now .
Thank you for all the kind comments and support.
I'm so sorry you are going through this it's agonising isn't it, your everything goes into the lead up to days like the trial and for it not to go ahead it's cruel it's like a massive downer even when there was no high just all the adrenaline with the outcome in someone else's hands. I know you want it to be over but talking from the other side enjoy this time in limbo get a a holiday if his bail conditions allow x
