Hi all,

I have to help identify some suitable psychologists for a risk assessment for my ex. Are there any good ones out there we can look in to? Are you allowed to name any (I dont know if that goes against the rules here!)

Also, how many hours does it usually take? What sort of fees are we looking at? In your experience?

Is there a sort of set up they follow? Are they looking at past behavours and current understanding etc? Is risk based on re-offending, progression to contact, is it based on the past? Or are they just looking at where the person is now with their therapy, understanding, motivation etc? Do they look at the images/police reports etc? Is there any info out there?

Thanks all.

We've just been through the risk assessment process. We're waiting for the report which should have come 10 days ago, but due to SS not raising a purchase order, we're still waiting.

Ours was done by LFF, we pushed for it to be done by them due to their specialist knowledge on the offences.

I have found it very triggering, but I know that if I want my family back its a necessary thing.
