Hi there,

From reading many posts on here I think it all depends on the authority you're in and then the specific SW who's appointed to you although there are Gov guidelines for everything so there should be consistency.

The best advice I could give would be to wait until you know what's happening and then post specific questions on here so people who've been there before you (we're way behind) can reply with up to date advice.

Hopefully others who have been through it already will come along to tell you their experiences too which is helpful.

Lots of love x

Lots of factors and it can take time. My kids are teens and we're 7 months post sentencing and ss have just signed off unsupervised contact. He's not allowed overnights yet. We've had it fairly easy, maybe as we're no longer together and kids are old enough to advocate for themselves
