Good morning,

We just wanted to let you know that, as an organisation, we try to conduct research as often as we can. Whilst the goal is always to further our understanding of how to prevent child sexual abuse, the type of research we conduct and the type of participants we use can widely vary. If appropriate, we may also advertise research being conducted outside of the organisation.

If anyone was interested in participating in any research, then you are welcome to do so. You will find details of current participation opportunities on the landing page of the Family and Friends section on our Get Help website (please click here and scroll to the bottom of the page). Your participation in any research will be anonymous.

We understand that forum users need to feel like this is a safe place to seek advice from others and offer support. For this reason, we do not allow external parties to advertise research projects on our forum. However, from past experience we have found that individuals using our services sometimes want to give back to the organisation, and participating in research is a positive way of doing so.

For anyone who participates in any of our research, thank you, as this is incredibly helpful to us and we are extremely grateful. But if you have any concerns or are unable to participate, or simply do not want to, that is absolutely fine and please do not feel pressured to do so.

Thank you
