WFH in same house as a offender
Notifications OFF
A quick question.. can you work from home in the same house than a registered offender or does anyone need to he alerted?
It's admin work for civil service
As long as this offender has no access to your WFH device/laptop then it's fine and it has nothing to do with his PPU / probation, and it also has nothing to do with your employer.
Would I need to notify anyone and what bout when he comes off the list?
Hi
I WFH and have done since the knock. I work for a charity.
My devices are all password control and updated every 3 months. I didn't say anything straight away, but decided to in case it made the media, which it did, so thankfully they were ready. I done safeguarding training with them and they also asked if I need any more training, they would provide. My manager knows and so does the main HR manager, and they have been supportive. I'm not sure if anyone else knows but every one is respectful to me, I also had an enhanced DBS and nothing was on it.
I'm not sure how long you work for the company, but I'm sure as long as you put good working practices in, and your OH does not have access to your device then your ok to WFH.

Hi, I too have to work on work devices of an evening etc which are password protected but also under the monitoring of our work. I organised a lockable box that I could put them in when I was not in but then mine was re a teen who has been sentenced rather than an adult and was part of protectiveness etc x
