Afternoon lovlies x

I hope you week has been kind to you and I am sorry to read our new members posts that have unfortunately ended up on our never ending rollercoaster journey,

SoTired, lovely to know your doing ok, we have all missed x

Parkerpoo1, I hope you managed to do something nice for yourself x

My week has been very busy at work but it keeps me just about sane :-)

Me and my daughter have a visit with the hungry catappiler tomorrow morning and the money bag has been re filled in anticipation of what my son will manage to scoff in 2 hours we sent him some new clothes in 2 weeks ago, its something the prison is trialling for enhanced guys so no doubt he will be wearing his new clothes, it's funny (you really do have to look at the positives out of a crap situation) but if he wasnt where he is there is no way on earth he would let me buy him clothes, but they have been washed and ironed before sending them in x

Tomorrow evening I am planning on a chilled out evening, a bottle of proceco, I have a face mask (I know its Halloween in 2 months) so not that type of mask :-) and some foot masks so a mini pamper evening for me xx

I really do prattle on sometimes

What ever you lovely ladies have planned I hope you it brings you some joy , love sent as always xx

Ahhhh, enjoy your mini pamper!! I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to the hungry caterpillar list!!

Quiet weekend here, making sure all the school uniform still fits before panic buying on Monday night, I think.

OH dealt with a bunch of DBS stuff this week, I don't think it will make any difference once he is charged but it felt purposeful to get references sorted.

Parkerpoo, I hope today is over quickly for you.

have a lovely weekend, lovely ladies x

Hi upset mum

Iv had a rollercoaster week of emotions I read in my local news on Facebook 2 cases in my area which sent me in to so much anxiety and panic!! Think im over that now this week.

treated myself to some Botox new eyebrows and me and the kids got our hairs done.

Kids go back to school next week and I go back to working in my day job, I have 2 jobs I work in a bar at the weekends! So im looking forward to get back into some kind of routine hopefully it'll keep me busy so my mind doesn't go overthinking like it normally does.

hope you enjoy your pampering I think we definitely need to pamper ourselves more. Xx

Hi Upset - hi ladies.

All ok here, a pretty quiet week (the sort I like). My son is fine and just told me he had a luxury of a fried egg as part of his tea!

Had to smile, Upset describing buying/sending clothes for your son. One thing my boy hated was buying clothes and when I went shopping with him he got bored quickly and usually ending up squabbling as he wanted to go round the 'games' shops. He hated my choices.......

What's everyone's pamper? I enjoy a hairdresser's appt! That's about it really..... so you ladies will have to give me some ideas!

Take care and let's hope this sunshine materialises!

Upset I'm looking forward to hearing the hungry caterpillar list and so pleased you're having a mini pamper session.

I have had my hair done this week and decided to get it cut short so a bit of a change ...

Off on holiday next week and hopefully I will be able to relax for a while.

Son is doing well and we are moving forward albeit with a few obstacles put in the way by others but we're so much better than this time last year when we were still waiting and worrying about the outcome at least now the worst is behind us.

Parkerpoo I hope you have done something nice for yourself today.

Sending love and hugs to all you wonderful people xxx

How amazing for your son a proud mummy moment, no matter how tough it's been having you as their mum at their side always really does show how incredibly strong and level headed he is, a part time job will give him confidence and of course a wage to spend,

Hope your not in pain with your ankle, make sure you rest when you can xx

Hope your ankle is not too painful.

It has been a lazy week for us as I'm back at work on Monday and my daughter is back at school on Tuesday. I work in a special school office and have never worked the holidays, but I have done a bit of work at home this week to get a jump on the work.

Went to see Barbie on Tuesday with my 2 daughters. My youngest had already seen it twice with various friends so this was the third time for her to watch it.

Went to knitting and crochet group on Wednesday and had a good chat to one of my friends there. She asked how things are going as she knows all about our situation and hasn't been judgemental which I'm thankful for. We are still waiting to hear how long the bail has been extended for - it has been 3 weeks since the police contacted us. One thing my friend has said is that my OH has done a stupid thing but we are all being punished for it.

My youngest daughter who is 15 has been wanting a job for ages to earn a bit of pocket money and tomorrow she will be working at the golf course where our other daughter works as an assistant chef. She will be pot washing but she's so excited - we can't get her to watch pots at home lol!

Hope everyone is ok x

Hi lovely ladies x

We had a lovely visit, he was wearing his new chinos (khaki green) and a navy tshirt, his hair has gotten quite long but he ties it back and he looks really well x that makes me feel so much calmer seen him ok x as always we talk so openly and his sister always brings the best out in him so a good few laughs also xx

He managed to eat 4 slices of toast (still no crumpets) a pack of 3 bourbon biscuits, a chocolate bar, a packet of crisps, a lovely gooey chocolate cake, a pot of chocolate chip icecream, a ham sandwich, a banana all washed down with 2 bottles of oasis , all in 2 hours:-) it does make me smile how much he can demolish xx

Evening Webb89

There is no need to make any decisions as yet no matter what the outcome is you will know what to do in yourself xx

Glad puppy is doing well along with the other furbabys

Your children (even though they are grown up) are so supportive, I know our journeys are different as it is my son who offended, but my beautiful daughter has been my rock throughout this, my eldest son is living with me and he has been ok , he has had his own struggles but is there for his brother also x

I miss having long weekend holidays as I am no longer with my second husband but it is what it is xx

Hello all,

My week has been strange. My OH has been back home for a week and, despite me being desperate to have him home, I've actually found it quite challenging. I feel more resentful than I did before. Don't get me wrong, I adore him, but I'm stressed about money (he's currently not working), worried I'm going to lose my house, anxious about returning to work next week (Monday) after the summer holidays, emotional about my youngest going to university, and just, well, fragile really.

i just really hope he gets a job soon.

Lots of love and strength to you all x

So happy to hear your visit went well Upset... I think it's a good step forward for prisoners to wear their own clothes. It's a good reward for the enhanced.

It's hard to explain the boost you feel when our boys are bearing up and on a level path. I just adore hearing my son laugh and hearing his incredible sense of humour, which I thought at one time had gone forever. It's pure gold and puts a spring in my step......

good to hear the appetite is as strong as ever!

Thank you for sharing the list, upset, and it's wonderful to hear he is looking dapper too.

Webb/K Lulu, I too am resenting OH this week. I wonder if it is something about the change of the season and how normally we would be making plans but can't???

As usual it's great to hear everyone's news, whether OK or otherwise. I value you all so much and I hope every single person on here knows that.

What a mixed week! Last few days with the grandchildren, a visit to my favourite theatre to see The Sound of Music with a good friend, then my OH and I had a viability assessment in case we need to foster our grandchildren (long and complicated story which isn't over yet.) I think it went OK apart from the SW asking us what we'd do if our grandchildren said they didn't want to see their father, once they were old enough to understand what he's done. I thought I'd considered anything and everything we might be asked but that threw me as it's too appalling to consider as they adore him but I realised that might change in the future. Must admit it made me feel quite low for a day or two but I've spoken sternly to myself and got back into the 'one day at a time' frame of mind.

The other big thing is that my OH is encouraging me to go and see our two other children who live overseas. We were going together before all of this nightmare began, for a prolonged visit, but cancelled the plans so we could be here for our son. My lovely OH says he can hold the fort whilst I'm away but I feel a bit wobbly about leaving things in case there's any major developments. It would be lovely to see them so I'm tempted.....I can do a Friday check-in from Bondi Beach!!!!
