For anyone out there where a loved one could be facing a prison sentence. Please do not get sucked in to think this drama reflects prison life in the slightest. My son tells me it is utter nonsense and as long as you behave they treat you well.
Only yesterday one came into his cell to join him on a PlayStation game and he said they regularly join in with pool etc.
Just drama and not in the slightest true to life.

My son tells me / strangely enough - shows and documentaries on prisons are a firm favourite in there. How weird is that?!?!?

Just to add to what Smile said they learn who to avoid , it is relatively very calm in an SO prison as most just want to do there time
My son has made a few friends they all help each other out
Work, education and the gym keeps my sons mind in an ok place
And there are staff there that do care x
