I've no advice really but just wanted to say things will get better. It may be slow but get to him make tiny steps. Make the most of the time he spends with his children. Keep applying for jobs. I'm sure someone will be along here soon for you with more advice xx

Your whole existence crumbles and everything changes in your life, it falls like a deck of cards infront of you....... we all understand this, we've all been through it.

It takes time - baby steps but a new life does evolve honestly. You will get there. I'm sure your support means the world to your son x

Thank you for supporting your son along this painful journey. There's both online and face to face counselling for offenders. DIdn't his VISOR adviser give him any advice about agencies?! Why is it we're practically expected to navigate our way through this withought support.

When my person was arrested I did some research online to find charities, groups, etc. That's how I found my way here.

Here are some I found:

https://www.talkingforward.co.uk/

https://stopso.org.uk/

https://theknock.club/

https://www.saferlivingfoundation.org/

I hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. My anxiety has prevented me from accessing the forum in the past but I now feel this could be just what I need in terms of support.
