Feel I have stayed so calm through this process but the anxiety today is destroying me

We've been informed my husband will face charges next week. Don't know what yet. We know what the police found but I don't know if the CPS do their own searches/can find other things/charge on different things to the 2nd interview?

He's on the phone to his work union now to discuss his optio s as we've left it too late for him to resign as he has a 3 month notice period that we didn't realise

I'm so stressed about how we will survive. We're trying to sell and downsize but we haven't completed etc, we're months away. Husband is very low

Tried to ring the helpline to find out more about the next steps in the process but it's permanently engaged

When it comes to notice periods, it is very rare that an organisation would bother to litigate over the breach in contract because of the costs/resources. Unless it's a mega role on mega bucks I would consider the risk. Perhaps looking at handing in notice on a medical basis and being signed off with stress which I'm sure with current circumstances would be applicable.

Weigh up the pros and cons x

Thanks both, I'll speak to my husband about that option and check out calling unlock. Appreciate it
