I'm so sorry - that's so much to deal with in a short amount of time. Please don't feel alone. I can't offer any advice but just sending love x

Sending you so much love and strength you have had so much to cope with in such a short space of time xxxx

I know how hard it is to say goodbye to a parent and my heart goes out to you-I chose to remember my Father as he had been and not how he became with Dementia but the decision must be what is best for you xxx

So sad for you Parkerpoo - it is very sad to cope with dementia, it's such a cruel illness. You have enough stresses to cope with on our jouney, then having to cope with something as monumental as this, bless you.

We were lucky to have our dear dad for so long but we lost him 14 months ago through dementia. Those last weeks were so very hard but now he's free of pain and that awful loss of dignity.

I just try to focus on our happy times and memories, dad will never really be 'gone' he's part of me. See through the illness, remember to look after yourself, your mum will be comfortable as she's cared for, so don't stress about a visit if you feel it's all too much and keep strong my lovely xxxx

here in a heartbeat for you x

Parkerpoo dont feel guilty about whatever you decide to. I went through this myself a few months ago. your mum will be receiving the best care and well looked after. Now is the time to do what is best for you after everything you have been through. We are all here for you xx
