2nd Interview Confusion
Notifications OFF
Hello everyone, hope you're all doing as well as you possibly can be:
My boyfriend was arrested 6 months ago. 2 months ago, at a bail check, the Police Officer said that they have examined all but one of the devices and hadn't found anything extra to what they spoke about in the interview (chats) She said that he couldn't be charged with these chats but obviously still have one more phone to examine and things to review. She told him he's done the worst bit now and probably wouldn't need to be re interviewed. Are the police likely to lie in this situation?
Fast forward to now and he's heard from his solicitor and he needs to go in for another interview. Any help or advice would be amazing.
Thanks all

Not sure it can be seen a lie, but badly executed comment from the police. They should not speculate at all, not all devices were looked at...
Typically a second interview is when police have found further evidence, as they would need to question the accused. Might be worth checking in on the police to confirm the subject to the interview.
