In my situation we had anonymity until the plea hearing.

I always knew my person would be convicted.

I wonder how often people plead not guilty to this crime and go on to trial?

It's not 100% clear how the NI law will work with the internet. It says that anyone who publishes the suspects name too early could be jailed, so that obviously applies to TV and newspapers.

But does it also apply to Facebook, or Whatsapp, or other online spaces? They have always said they are not publishers, so will their executives go to jail, or will it apply to the vigilantes who actually posted the video?

my husband wasn't stung by one of these but I really disagree with them, there's so many of them and every other video on fb is a sting I find it so triggering!!



I don't believe for one second they do it to protect children, there's never any considered for the real children of the offender that actually gets hurt in the process. They do it purely for their egos!!
