Awww so tired, I'm sorry that it didn't go as well as you'd both hoped.

It's good that your son has found a friend. I hope that he manages to navigate going out again soon.

Cases like your sons upset me so much, he was a child himself. More needs to be done to protect our young people. Sending love xxx

One step at a time, he will get there. It may not have gone 100% as planed (no night out does) perhaps next time will be better. Good luck for him and praises all around it takes a lot to go out but he did it xx

SoTired. Well done to your son on trying and for being so sensible when the situation arose. My heart breaks for you. We are in a similar position but much earlier on in the journey. Seeing our children struggling just smashes our hearts into pieces again and again and again. Sending you a hug and a shoulder to cry on.

Good evening so tired I read your post last night and I was so angry it was the first thing on my mind wen I woke , how dare that people tell your son to go home , who the hell does he think he is , my son was 18 on arrest for images and due to the police necessity to advertise this on there website post sentencing my son has faced the same struggle to get on with his life, all his school friends hav read it and now he cannot go out anywhere in the local areas (terrible) alienates them further, how are they to get over this and make a new life in society , I have zero respect for police as they hav none for us , I wish our sons could have a way to support each other as boy do some of them need it , my heart goes out to your son and to you as a mum, it's very hurtful isn't it, I wish him all the success in the world , I know they did wrong but surely they don't deserve this, xxxx

Hi so tired.. your sons attitude towards being told to leave (which makes me so angry) is great, of course our sons are always going to run into hurdles, but how they deal with it is their choice.

I've been trying to explain to my son that when this comes out, as I'm sure the media or police will enjoy posting it, that not everyone will be as understanding as our friends and family have been.

Hope your sons next night out goes better and hope it doesn't put him off going out xx
