No advice KT but it's disgusting that this has been hanging over his head for so long when he was only a child himself. Xx
What an absolutely awful situation for you and your son. Sending you love and strength.
It's disgusting how the police are treating your son, who was a child himself at the time of the offence.
The good thing is he's still so young - he has plenty of time to sort out his life after this is over.
All the best xx

Such a tragic situation to be in. My heart goes out to you and your son. The police's inability to do timely investigations is maddening. And the fact your son was already underage at the time you'd think they'd have anything better to be doing then have you wait over 2 years before doing something about it. Just goes to show you that the police care nothing more than you get a conviction and are happy to wait around as long as they like while they put restrictions on your life
Thank you very much for your replies, I didn't really know why i needed to post today or what I wanted to gain from it but turns out, I got exactly what I needed
just some support and understanding, so thank you as always xx

Let me be another sender of sympathy, solidarity (I'm a mum too albeit with a much older son) and outrage at the way the police are handling this (and so many other cases described on this forum). I can only imagine how hard it is to see your child in this mess and being so unfairly treated as I feel like that despite my son being an adult who should have known better. If it was happening when he was a teenager it would have felt so much worse and I really feel for you, but I'm glad you have a close knit family - that is our saving grace too.
