So OH was supposed to have his trial on Monday. But he's just received an email to say it's moved till Wednesday, but it is a 'floating' trial. I'd never heard of this before, but apparently he turns up an waits all day and hopes that they can squeeze him in !! Has anyone else had a floating trial? What are the chances of it going ahead and what happens if it doesn't? Do you have to return the next day. This is just so stressful, just wish we knew what is going to happen

That sounds so stressful. I just can't imagine how awful it must be to go through the build up and wait only to be told it's not going to happen. I'm sorry, I don't have any experience of a floating trial but I wanted to reach out and let you know I'm here and will be thinking of you both.

Thats ridiculous! I swear the courts think no one has a full time job! One of my partners plea hearings was relisted for the very next day! Stupid! He got it changed as he pointed out he was at work and can't just get days off last minute!
